Craftsmanship / Tourbillon Skeleton Movement Tourbillon Skeleton Movement

Piaget’s flying tourbillon movement, which at a mere 3.5 millimeters is the thinnest of its kind, shines in all its beauty in the skeleton version. Striving to outdo themselves, to push the limits of achievement, Piaget’s engineers, designers and master watchmakers worked 12 additional months to conceive this light, refined, and spectacular variation on the most emblematic complication movement. Divided into segments corresponding to each of the 60 seconds, the guilloché sunray pattern radiating from the tourbillon carriage has become a classic. The diamond-set model is unique in the world. Never before had movement bridges appeared so sparklingly clad in gold set with precious stones. The ultimate expression of the art of combining watchmaking and jewellery expertise! Each skeleton tourbillon movement, for which several patents have been filed, is assembled and cased up by a single master-watchmaker.
