The 560P, self-winding movement crafted by the Piaget Manufacture required twenty-four months of development. Although one of the most subtle complications in the watchmaking industry, the backward-moving (or retrograde) seconds function demands faultless precision since the seconds hand must move instantaneously from the 30 to the 0 position no less than 2,880 times a day.
