The elegant Dancer watch, with its ultra-thin case, discreetly gem-set bezel, extremely supple bracelet and characteristic double gadroons, lends its dial to a range that features the 12 Chinese signs of the zodiac. Illuminated by diamonds, the Rat symbol stands out beautifully against the black onyx background. The Rat represents a sociable and popular person endowed with a generous nature, which is tempered by a sense of thrift.

The gold bracelet consists of 80 separate elements, which have been polished or satin-brushed and assembled by hand in a process that lasts over two hours. The diamonds are set by hand according to a traditional technique, in which four 'grains' are drawn from gold and used to hold each stone in place. Onyx, a hard stone that is emblematic of Piaget creations, is used to highlight the motif, whose fabrication demanded extreme dexterity from our gem-setters.
