The water resistance of a watch protects its interior from any risk of deterioration due to infiltration of dust or immersion in water. Piaget guarantees the water resistance of its water-resistant watches for a two-year period as of the date of purchase, subject to guarantee exclusions.

High jewelry models and historical watches that are not water-resistant are nonetheless resistant to running water and dust.
