Matt Damon wears Piaget to the SAG Awards
Los Angeles, CA – One of Hollywood’s most sought after leading men and a nominee for the Best Actor SAG Award, Matt Damon, once again chose the white gold 40mm Piaget Altiplano watch as the ultimate black tie accessory. The epitome of understated elegance, the Altiplano slips easily under a shirt cuff. The timepiece was revealed on the red carpet when Damon hugged his Behind the Candelabra co-star, Michael Douglas, and Lupita Nyong’o, to whom he presented the SAG Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 12 Years A Slave.
Damon had also donned the Piaget Altiplano for this year’s Golden Globes, where he was nominated for a Best Actor award. One of the slimmest watches in the world, the Piaget Altiplano collection has become the watch of choice of Hollywood’s brightest stars. Michael B. Jordan, the critically acclaimed star of Fruitvale Station, has also been a fan of the Altiplano this awards season. And in previous years, the watch has been seen on stars like Hugh Jackman, Mark Ruffalo, Aaron Eckhart and Jeremy Renner.
Today at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva, Piaget launched the new Altiplano 900P and shattered the record for the thinnest watch in world. Beautifully crafted in white gold and at just 3.65mm thin, the watch is sure to be in high demand for the upcoming Spirit Awards and the 86th Academy Awards.
