Chronograph Movement
The Piaget Polo Chronograph model features the new Caliber 800P, the first mechanical chronograph movement to be entirely designed, developed and produced by the Piaget Manufacture. In addition to its chronograph and flyback functions, this signature movement indicates hours, minutes, small seconds at 6 o’clock, date at 12 o’clock and a second time zone. Within the select circle of Manufacture-made chronograph movements, the Caliber 800P is distinguished by its 24 hour dual time-zone display positioned at 9 o’clock, the place usually reserved for the standard chronograph hour counter. Featuring two barrels and a large screw-regulated balance, this mechanical self-winding movement offers a 52-hour power reserve in activated chronograph mode. Equipped with a column wheel mechanism and vertical coupling clutch, the 5.6 millimeter Caliber 800P features all the characteristics of a haute horlogerie chronograph movement. The signature Piaget finishes – blued screws, round Geneva ribbing and caliber number – further enhance the movement's exclusive status.
