Double slimness record in major complication modeWatch the Video
The first major complication in the ultra-thin Altiplano collection
With its 4.65 mm hand-wound chronograph movement and its 8.24 mm case, this newcomer to the Altiplano range will set a new crowning touch to the already impressive array of Piaget watches distinguished by legendary slenderness.
A contemporary translation of Altiplano
For the first time, the Piaget Altiplano Chronograph watch presents a new interpretation of slenderness and refinement by housing a major watchmaking complication: the hand-wound chronograph.
The chronograph is controlled by a column-wheel that coordinates all phases with its hand-wound movement and ensures perfect precision by a vertical coupling-clutch system.
This finely crafted movement which is visible through the transparent case back features the noblest watchmaking traditions: Circular Côtes de Genève, circular-grained main plate, beveled bridges, sunburst wheels and blued screws.
Two refined versions of the Altiplano watch with leather straps
Available in rose gold or white gold, set with 56 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.8 carat), the taut lines of this new chronograph continue into its alligator leather strap fitted with a pin buckle.
Modernity, tradition and a timelessly understated character are combined within this new creation.
Housed within an ultra-thin case with sharply defined lines, the Piaget Altiplano Chronograph watch displays the apparent simplicity of an elegant sophistication permeating every detail.
The latest addition to the range of movements entirely developed by Piaget is named 883P and stems from the automatic 880P movement that is one of the thinnest on the market.Find out more about the 883P caliber
