Drawing the inspiration for its features both from the Piaget 600P calibre – one of the thinnest hand-wound shaped tourbillon movements in the world – and from the Piaget 1208P calibre – ultra-thin self-winding movement equipped with a micro-rotor – the Piaget 1270P calibre, Piaget’s first ultra-thin self-winding tourbillon movement with a thickness of just 5.55 mm, offers innovations that are both technical and aesthetic. In fact, the new Piaget Emperador cushion-shaped tourbillon self-winding watch presents unprecedented thinness for this type of complication, the depth of its case being only 10.4 mm. It thus forms part of the long tradition of major advances and innovations through which Piaget has made its enduring mark on the history of Fine Watchmaking.
