Combining the expertise of Piaget Haute Horlogerie and High Jewellery, the Altiplano gem-set skeleton self-winding watch dazzles with its 1200D movement, the main plate and working parts of which are entirely gem-set. Only the Manufacture Piaget can master such savoir-faire, here coupled with a double record for watch thinness: 3,00 mm for the movement, 6,00 mm for the case. In order to achieve this exceptional gem-setting, the main plate and bridges were specially designed to be made of gold. This exploit combining watchmaking and jewellery expertise takes over four days' work for a single watch movement. Piaget takes its artistry to the lengths of concealing screw-heads under black sapphire cabochons. Delicately set between main plate, bezel, sapphire crystal case-back and the buckle of its bracelet, 360 brilliant-cut diamonds enhance the precious structure of this luxury white gold watch. With its thickness of only 6 mm, this Altiplano watch is the thinnest gem-set skeleton self-winding mechanical watch in the world. This watchmaking masterpiece is available exclusively in Piaget boutiques.
